Missions
[home]

What a joy it is to cultivate the Lord's own
heart for Nederland, Port Arthur,
Beaumont, Port Neches, Groves, and so many
other area communities in the Golden Triangle. Join us as we
seek to be used as
instruments of Christ, as the Father draws His people
locally, statewide, nationwide, and worldwide
to
Christ through missions and the sharing of the
Gospel by His people.

Throughout
the year, our congregation supports the
International Mission Board
as it seeks to take
the gospel to the utmost parts of the world. Each
month, a portion of our operating
budget is sent to
the
Southern Baptist Cooperative Program which helps
to fund the IMB. Additionally, each year during the
month of December we collect the
Lottie Moon Christmas offering. This collection
is devoted solely to the cause of international
missions.

Our dedication to reach the United States with the
good news of Jesus Christ is found in our support of
the
North American Mission Board. Our monthly
donations to the SBC cooperative program as well as
our
Annie Armstrong Easter offering help support
them throughout the year.

Here in SE Texas, our church has joined with the
Golden
Triangle Baptist Association to help reach our
neighbors with the gospel. GTBA seeks to provide
help through a number of programs.
Shepherd’s Inn
(Local)

The
Shepherd’s Inn is a hospitality house that is
operated by Christian Life Crisis Intervention and
the Golden Triangle Baptist Association. This ministry provides
free housing for families coming to visit a relative
in one of the local prisons.

The
United Board of Missions seeks to provide help
to those in need within the Golden Triangle. They
operate a food pantry, a clothing store, and other
ministries that seek to meet genuine physical,
spiritual, and educational needs. |
